The Schulze PRETREATmaker IV is a high-end machine for precise pretreating of garments and textiles in direct to garment printing production. Thanks to its open interface and barcode-system the machine can now easily be integrated into an existing production system. With the available control scale it is very easy to control the amount of applied precoating. Additional filters and automated cleaning functions help to maintain a steady precoating flow without nozzle failures.
100% spray and mist containment
The amount of precoating liquid applied in closed chamber is controlled automatically as below: the machine does have a total of 4 valves which can be individually switched on or off. Therefore, the minimal spray width is 12 cm – the ideal width for chest prints. The length can be regulated in 2 cm intervals. This will allow each user to setup the unit according to their needs and save in precoating liquid consumption.
Reliable coating results across large-volume batches
All textiles of the same batch are coated under the same conditions. This is the basis for subsequent consistent printing results. The industrial step motor, improved running characteristics of the carriage and high-performance mainboard make the process trouble-free for mid- to large volume productions and ensure smooth and accurate spray patterns.
Easy to handle – easy to clean
The machine allows to use two different pretreatment liquids at the same time with the fast switch option to change between them. Due to the draining gutter the cleaning process can be initiated with one touch only. The changeable for individual fluids spraying nozzles can be removed without tools for proper ultrasound cleaning.
The table shown below represent the indicative amounts of precoating liquids.
It was developed on tests on a 34x40cm surface, while using distilled water and brand new TP800050 nozzles (used for Brother pretreatment). The values contain also the amount of precoating liquid that was sprayed on the wall inside of the PRETREATmaker IV. Depending on the dilution level of the precoating liquid and the nozzles degree of spray the values may differ by +/- 3g. Comparison tests are required each time.
