Automatic cleaning and capping station
The Automatic Cleaning is an important feature in the aeoon Kyo DTG printer. It is designed to keep the printhead of the printer clean and protected when not in use. The capping station works by automatically moving the printhead into position for cleaning and capping and then retracting it when the process is complete. When the printer is not in use, the station keeps the printhead securely capped to prevent any dust or debris from getting onto the surface. PLUS Series: integrated heat press
The integrated heat press is an innovative feature for the aeoon Kyo PLUS Series that allows for a streamlined printing process, where the garment is printed and pressed in one machine. The heat press is controlled within the printer software and can be easily adjusted for temperature and pressure. It helps to:

The Kyocera KJ4B-QA printhead is a 600dpi one-color printhead with a maximum drive frequency of 30kHz. It delivers high quality with a small drop volume of 5pl at 75 m/min by making use of 2,656 nozzles arranged across 108.25 mm wide print swathe with 0.042mm pitch, resulting in 30.000 drops per second.
One of the key advantages of the KJ4B-QA printhead is its high printing speed, with a maximum firing frequency of up to 30kHz. This allows fast and efficient printing with aeoon Compact Series, aeoon Kyo Series and aeoon Hybrid printers, making it an ideal choice for high-volume printing applications.

The version with 4 printheads can print in CMYK on light and white garments.
The version with 8 printheads can either print:
- with twice the CMYK heads on light and white garments,
- or in CMYK and White on every color, including dark and black garments,
- or in extended gamut – CMYK + spot colors (Red and Green) and White on every color, including dark and black garments.
The version with different configurations of 12 printheads can print on every color of the garment, including dark and black, using either CMYK and White or CMYK + spot colors (Red and Green) and White.

aeoon PLUS series: Pressing and printing in one GO!
The aeoon Kyo Plus takes print quality and efficiency to the next level with its Integrated Heat Press feature. By combining the printing and heat pressing processes into one seamless operation, it offers numerous advantages:
- It provides the ability to pre-press and after-press garments directly within the system, eliminating the need for an external heat press and reducing the number of work steps.
- It increases the print quality and helps with the washability of the print with the garment being pressed in-between the application of the white underbase and the color layer.

DuPont Color G Series
The aeoon Compact Series, aeoon Kyo Series and aeoon Hybrid DTG Printers use DuPont Color G Series water-based pigment ink, designed to produce vibrant and long-lasting colors on various fabrics.
The ink is specially formulated to provide excellent adhesion to materials, ensuring that the printed designs are durable and wash-resistant. The water-based nature of the ink makes it an environmentally friendly option, as it does not contain harmful solvents or chemicals.
Expanded Color Range – Spot Colors
For DTG printers using only CMYK colors, it is not possible in some cases to recreate the vibrancy and brightness of an RGB picture in a print. That is because the colors required are simply „out of gamut“ – they are not in the CMYK color range. With gamut expansion colors (so-called “spot”) – additional process colors, such as RED and GREEN – in addition to the standard colors cyan, magenta, yellow, black and white, it is finally no longer necessary to compensate that loss or try to balance it out with tweaks!
Advantages of expanding your color space
Advantages of gamut expansions are larger color gamut and improved transitions between colors, easiness to hit pantone colors accurately (similar to screen printing color matching) and improved color brilliance, resulting in the print being closer to the original RGB design.
Sustainable high-quality water-based pigment inks
Water based ink, which is made by suspending a biodegradable pigment into a water base, has gained popularity within the DTG printing industry due to its combination of quality, affordability, and eco-friendliness. Reducing the environmental footprint is one of the biggest advantages of using water-based pigment inks.
DuPont Color G Series inks are GOTS-approved and OEKO-TEX® approved.
